11 Pictures that make me want to go back to Iceland!
My trip to Iceland was legendary! It’s been almost a week since I came back, but I’m still not over it. I have 11 pictures that make me want to go back to Iceland. Here’s some pictures that I took there that make me want to come back to Iceland!
Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland. As I spent most of my time there in nature, I realized that I didn’t give enough love to this city. The houses in the city has pastels color that fascinated my eyes. If I go back, I would like to walk around the city more 🙂
Einar Jonsson Museum
Icelandic artist that made a many sculptures and give it to the state. He made a house for his works and it is located in Reykjavik.
I had 2 days road trip because I was lucky that I met another traveller who was renting a car and willing to share. This picture reminds me of the fun we had on the road and the beautiful landscape all arounf that makes me want to go back :”

The elegant horse was so friendly. He came approaching us when we stopped our car near their gate. I want to go back and play more with them 😀

Skogafoss and Rainbow
During our road trip, we had so many stops, visiting waterfall (foss in Icelandic) and many more. But this view is amazing, because we also got to see rainbow there.
This amazing view is from a hill Hornafjordur in the South. The airbnb where we stayed there was also amazing. It was almost in the middle of nowhere and a form of Icelandic farm house.
Icelandic beach is like no other. It’s full of iceberg. super cool!
Seljavallalaug Thermal Pool
The picture above is the view to Seljavallalaug thermal pool that is located in the nature. We didn’t get to swim there because we were looking for more natural thermal pool behind the hill. I got the information from another traveler that I met there, but we didn’t find it. Next time I come back, I have to swim in the Seljavallalaug pool, at least.
The glacier hike needs a complete tool and fit body. It’s a bit dangerous. I only walked until the beginning of the glacier. Looking it from near already made me happy!
This lava field is endless! It’s all covered with snow at that moment, so I can’t really show it. But, it was an amazing 2 or 3 hours of walk in the snow. Worth to get this kind of view!
